Nilgiriscapes
Last year, the first edition of Nilgiriscapes Conference was organised at Ooty with speakers from USA, Canada, Israel and India participating. In June 2024, a Nilgiriscapes Conclave took place at Coonoor, in the Nilgiris. Luminaries from across India attended across sessions that stretched over two days and deliberated upon the rich biodiversity of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. EBR is one of the principal members of the organising committee. Many participants also attended the post-conference fieldtrip to the EBR site to witness the Ecological Restoration activities.
